Sapientia Education Trust (SET) is delighted to have been given approval and secured planning permission for this brand-new primary school that will be located on the site of Wymondham College. This will provide all age education on the one site and whilst the two schools are separate there are obvious benefits to their co-location. We believe that this single site provision will be unique in the region.
Sapientia Education Trust was born out of Wymondham College where I had the pleasure of being Principal and with the excellent team at the college secured outstanding Ofsted judgments in all aspects of provision before developing the trust. Including the Prep School, Sapientia Education Trust operates 16 state schools across Norfolk and Suffolk.
We are an ambitious trust committed to delivering a world class education for our pupils. Wymondham College Prep School will deliver the same unique, high-quality teaching and learning with an extensive range of extra-curricular activities as we have established in Wymondham College. Class teachers Mrs Dixon, Miss Horsfield, and Mrs Simpson together have all the skills and qualities needed to make The Prep School exciting and vibrant. Our aim is to enable our pupils to become confident and independent learners. We have been overwhelmed by the community response to our vision for this school and we are now looking forward to welcoming our first cohort of pupils and their families; together we will make this school a very special community resource.
